This is your chance to learn directly from Dr. Pedro Díaz and the Mundo Boxing Team and get to know the model of success that has resulted in countless Olympic and professional World champions.

On behalf of Mundo Boxing #THEFAMILYTEAM, we are pleased to invite you for the first time in the history of Mundo Boxing, to learn from one of the sharpest minds in the industry, Dr. Pedro Diaz; where you will have the chance to expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills as a professional martial arts coach alongside the best in the game.

Our goal is to provide evidence based training and education services for Boxing and combat sports in general, especially in the preparation of professional boxers and MMA fighters. We pride ourselves in being a welcoming community, with strong human and family values, of people from all walks of life, from different backgrounds, cultures and professional education, with one common goal: helping athletes achieve their dream.

We are looking for likeminded coaches with strong communication skills, who are passionate, reliable, punctual, energetic, ambitious and eager to learn who want to expand their knowledge and be part of this amazing team.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

After we receive all applications, we will then carefully select a group of applicants for a phone call interview. After this, we will select up to 10 final applicants, who will be asked to spend one week at Mundo Boxing HQ. After this, up to five people will be selected from this group to spend an additional 3 weeks in Miami. 

Perks:

• Be part of 1-2 daily training sessions in the Mundo Boxing gym.
• Opportunity to get hands-on experience with the training of professional fighters.
• Learn directly from Dr. Pedro Díaz and other members of The Family Team.
• Gain a deep understanding of the science behind boxing.
• Learn how to prepare a fighter for combat from a physical, mental, technical and tactical perspective.
• Learn how to organize and write a professional training camp.
• At the end of the internship, the opportunity may be provided to be part of the technical team of Mundo Boxing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a combar sports coach
• Must have successfully completed the TRAIN TO WIN/ENTRENAR PARA GANAR 8-Week Online Training Camp at Boxing University.
• Must speak fluent English
• Must hav a good understanding of the art of holding mitts.
• Understanding of social media.
• Willing to extend their stay in Miami for an additional 3 weeks and participate in at least 4 training sessions per week.

Disclaimer:

• Each person will be responsible to organize/pay for their own travel itinerary to Miami.
• Must be able to get a visa to enter and stay in the US (if necessary)
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• This is an unpaid internship.

The development of technology and sports science has allowed us to raise the bar for what is possible to achieve for athletes.

The conversation surrounding the limits of human potential confirm that the current training methodologies are not conducive to finding said limits.

Because of this reason, it’s particularly important that coaches and trainers keep up to date with the current literature and best practices, so we can achieve better and better results for our athletes and continue breaking the barriers of what is humanly possible.

After years of requests, we’re happy to announce our new Internship program; with the goal of sharing our knowledge and experience gained through many years of the formation of Boxing and MMA champions.
